Product Design

Over the years I've attended dozens of Atlanta Gift Mart shows.  Although there has never been a lack of successful brands and product lines, I quickly noticed that so much of the product packaging suffered from -- how can I put this delicately -- just plain bad design.  So I got to thinking.  Among the pink glitter, Curlz-engraved plaques, and sparkly tchotchkes, what would make a brand stand out while still being minimalistic?

Working with my go-to artist, Mike Steffen, removing basic design principles and stripping the palette down to simple black and white,  Good Mourning is a true representation of what I would gift to someone. Cute but not corny, this is a line that I hope makes people laugh.
